Role Summary

The General Plumber is a field technician responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing service while accurately managing jobs end-to-end in our CRM, Service Titan. This role requires strong technical plumbing skills, professional customer communication, and consistent use of Service Titan for job documentation, time tracking, photos, estimates, and recommendations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform residential and/or commercial plumbing service, repairs, installations, and maintenance
  • Diagnose issues and present clear repair or replacement options to customers
  • Build, update, and close jobs in CRM, including:
  • Job notes and work summaries
  • Before/after photos and videos
  • Material usage and part selection
  • Time tracking and job status updates
  • Create and review estimates and recommendations in ServiceTitan as required
  • Capture required documentation to support job costing, invoicing, and warranties
  • Follow company workflows for dispatch, scheduling, call booking, and job completion
  • Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
  • Communicate proactively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers
  • Comply with all safety requirements, plumbing codes, and company standards

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of plumbing experience (service, residential, commercial, or mixed)
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Comfortable using mobile technology in the field
  • Ability to follow digital workflows and documentation standards
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces or varying conditions

Performance Expectations (ServiceTitan-Focused)

  • Jobs are fully documented in ServiceTitan before closing
  • Required photos and notes are uploaded on the same day
  • Time entries and job statuses are accurate and timely
  • Estimates and recommendations are clearly presented and properly logged
  • Minimal admin follow-up required by office staff

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
