Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the financial health and operational success of a multi-entity organization by managing core accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and helping improve internal processes.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, accountability, and adaptability are essential. Experience with construction, service, or multi-entity accounting environments is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities Core Accounting
- Manage bank account and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and supporting schedules
- Perform account reconciliations and journal entries
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages
- Support year-end tax preparation and external accountants
- Assist with audits and financial reviews
Multi-Entity Accounting
- Manage accounting activities across multiple legal entities with separate bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledgers
- Process and reconcile intercompany transactions, including payroll and overhead allocations
- Maintain accurate Due To / Due From balances and reconciliations
- Ensure consistency of accounting policies and procedures across entities
- Support consolidated reporting while maintaining clean entity-level financials
Monthly Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Record and reconcile intercompany journal entries
- Prepare AR/AP aging reports
- Prepare monthly P&L and financial reporting packages
- File sales and use tax returns
- Assist leadership with financial analysis and reporting requests
Annual Responsibilities
- Prepare and file 1099s
- Support tax preparation and year-end close activities
- File California Statements of Information
- Assist with audit preparation and supporting documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 5 + years of accounting experience preferred
- Experience with multi-entity accounting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Experience with QuickBooks Online required
- Experience with ServiceTitan, construction accounting, or service-industry operations is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
