Timely. Quality work. Needed new water heater suddenly and quickly (normal reaction when 11 y/o appliances craps out). Needed work done to code and, per the previous owner’s remodel, needed some notable safety compliance with H2O supply shut-offs and gas valve shut-off replaced but also moved to be properly accessible. Brad arrived on time to install our new tankless water heater. He worked all day and was joined in the last couple of hours by Jaimie. Both did an outstanding job installing both the water heater and a recirculation valve under a sink. The job sites were left clean and neat, and everything functioned properly when they left. The water heater in the house I have been renting broke down a week ago due to a leakage that had gone undetected for too long. I notified the landlord and called two other reputable plumbers whom I had hired previously. Neither of them had any openings during the following week, perhaps due to a shortage of technicians. Then, I remembered Gene Burch Plumbing from decades ago, when I had an office in the same building as theirs. They gave me an appointment for yesterday, when Brad and Kevin arrived promptly, evaluated the damage and explained it to me and then to the landlord, instructed me to clear the area around the water heater, and set an appointment for another technician to arrive the next morning.
David arrived promptly this morning after calling to let me know he was coming over. A twenty-year-old technician, David was a polite, courteous, diligent, and competent professional, who seemed to enjoy, and take a pride, in his profession, got the job done perfectly within the previously estimated time, answering every question of mine and cleaning after himself after he was done. The satisfaction I got from talking with David and watching him practice his profession so competently exceeded the inconvenience and annoyance of not having hot water for a week.
