Brad & Jaime came out to investigate what we thought was a sewage leak. They were very thorough in checking out the basement bathroom involved as well as the drainage & venting from that bathroom. They determined that the sewage smell outside the kitchen was actually because the vent from the basement bathroom opens out just below the open side door of the kitchen which is normally closed. Mystery solved.
